About our school

Newcastle Middle School offers quality teaching and learning experiences for students in Year 5 through Year 8, who have moderate to severe levels of disability.

Planning for students is individualised and mutually negotiated with families. Alongside curriculum, students will experience a range of in-school, external and inter-school activities linked to their plan including:

• middle years programme
• sailability
• school camps
• excursions into the local community
• shopping and living skills programs.
